The first NGA 1:1 lesson typically takes 1.5 hours but I always ask you to block off 2 hours on your schedule just in case.

How long does a Natural Glow Academy lesson take?

With ZERO makeup on and CLEAN skin. 

How should I come to my appointment?

If you’d like me to potentially use your existing makeup brushes, please make sure they are CLEAN and DRY. Bring makeup you like and that's not expired or falling apart. What I mean by “like” is please don’t bring me every last piece of makeup you’ve ever bought that is probably 10 years old (or more!). Bring me the products and brushes you like and gravitate towards even if you’re not sure if they’re the right colors or how to apply it. 

What should I bring with me to my lesson?

For Friday-Sunday weddings more than 20 miles outside of Raleigh (27613), there is a 4 person minimum. For Friday-Sunday weddings within 20 miles of Raleigh (27613), if there are less than 4 people, the $275 travel fee will be applied.

Do you have a bridal party minimum?

Yes! I have a bunch of talented MUA friends, who I fully trust to create natural glow magic on your big day. I will typically bring another MUA for wedding parties of 7 or more but this is at my discretion. 

Do you ever bring any other makeup artists with you for weddings?

With ZERO makeup on and CLEAN skin. 

How should I come to my appointment?

We require 24 hour notice for ALL cancellations (trials, NGA lesson, specialty makeup appt). If you fail to show for your scheduled appointment or lesson without notifying via phone call or text, you will be charged the FULL appointment fee. If you do not show at the time of the appointment and Samara is unable to reschedule the same day, you are still required to pay the full amount of the scheduled appointment. For wedding cancellations, please refer to your contract.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Regular makeup application appointments take anywhere from 60-75 minutes
(not including set-up and breakdown time if I am traveling to you).

How long does regular makeup application take?

Because I believe my pricing structure is EXTREMELY fair as is, I don’t offer any discounts or packages.  

Do you offer group discounts or have any bridal packages?

Just type in #naturalglowacademy into the search bar and then select reels to view the current (but growing everyday) library. 

How do I find your NGA refresher videos on instagram?

In Raleigh 27613. For security reasons, I don’t disclose the exact address until you’ve paid your non-refundable deposit. 

Where is your in-home studio located?

For wedding parties of 5+ or if we’re dealing with a super tight schedule, I will require a bridal trial. I take extensive notes during the trial that help me be as efficient as possible on the big day. You can read more about the importance of trials in the BLOG section of the site. 

Do you require a trial?

I usually need 45-60 minutes per person. If the client has a lot of acne or discoloration that needs to be addressed, it could add more time so please keep that in mind.

How long does wedding makeup take?

You are officially on my books once your contract is signed and the 50% deposit is made. Until then, your date is up for grabs. If someone else inquires about your date before you’ve secured it, I will always let you know and give you 24 hours to lock it down.

When is my date officially secured?

I charge $120 if the appointment is out of my in-home studio 27613 or $150 to come to you (within 20 miles of Raleigh 27613). Please note that these prices do not include potential travel and holiday fees. Trials are $180 and only offered out of my in-home studio (27613). Please refer to my investment guide for specifics.

While I know this sounds like a fabulous idea, I am currently unable to accommodate more than one person at a time for lessons. My wheels are turning though to see how I could do this in the future so stay tuned! 

Can you do more than 1 person at a time like mom/daughter, friends, etc?
