How to make your lip liner stay on
We’ve all been there. You put on your lip liner followed by your lipstick finished with some lipgloss and run out the door. You get in your car and take a peek at yourself in your mirror only to see your lip liner has disappeared from your face in what feels like no time at all.
Well I’m here to offer you a trick that will help keep your lip liner stay PUT.
Ok first things first, please make sure your lips are DRY, like bone dry, before you start applying lip liner or lipstick. If you’ve been wearing a lip mask while you were doing the rest of your makeup, take it off. If you applied chapstick or a lip balm, take it off. And for the love of god, please don’t lick your lips right before you apply your lip products 😂. Your lips need to be dry before you apply lip liner or lipstick if you want it to adhere properly to your lips.
Apply your lip liner as you normally would. Now for the trick: take a clean, fluffy eyeshadow brush and swipe it through some translucent setting powder and dust that alllllll over your lips! You can repeat this step if you’re wearing a matte lipstick but if you’re wearing a creamy, shiny lipstick, it’s not going to work.
Apply your creamy lipstick and lipgloss and then a little setting spray over your entire face and voila, you’ve got a long lasting pout!
